Santa Calatina Island & Visalia Convention 2005

I operated from Santa Catalina Island (IOTA NA-066) on 11th and 12th April 2005, en route to the Northern California DX Club's convention in Visalia, CA. The callsign was W6/M0BLF/P and equipment was an FT-897 with 100W into a dipole. Sadly conditions meant that we only contacted the Americas, with the exception of one Spanish station. QSL via M0BLF.

The Zane Grey Pueblo Hotel
We stayed in the Zane Grey Pueblo Hotel, on the cliff above the town of Avalon, with some space to put up a dipole too.
