A virtual tour of Meavy Flower Festival 2009

A virtual tour of Meavy Flower Festival 2009

A virtual tour of the flower festival held in St. Peter's Church, Meavy, from 26th to 28th June 2009. The tour below requires Microsoft Silverlight. If you do not already have it, your computer should prompt you to install it (free-of-charge) when you click 'Click to view the synth' below but Internet Explorer users should also see the instructions at the bottom of this page.

To navigate around the virtual tour, drag the image with your mouse and click on the area you wish to see. The controls at the bottom of the photos allow you to pan, move forwards and backwards and zoom in and out. Hover over them with your mouse pointer to discover their functions.

For more control, you can also use the following keys on your keyboard (after first clicking within the image):
- Pan down (Not available on most images, as I didn't take lots of pictures of the floor!)
- Pan up (Not available on most images, as I didn't take lots of pictures of the roof!)
- Pan left
- Pan right

Installing Silverlight for Internet Explorer

Microsoft Internet Explorer may decide to block the installation of Microsoft Silverlight, which is required to view the tour. If this happens, after clicking 'Click to view the synth', the next page will be blank, with the information bar at the top. (For this reason, it is recommended that you write these instructions down before continuing.) Click on the information bar, and choose 'Allow to download', and then choose 'Run' — and 'Run' when warned again. Finally, you will be able to click 'Install Now' to install Silverlight. Once this has completed, use the browser's back button to return to this page.
